Message from the Principal and Vice-Principal
The end of every school year brings with it a lot of goodbyes.  We say goodbye to our grade seven students who are moving on to high school, we say goodbye to their parents who have been part of our school community for eight years.  We say good bye to students who are moving or who are returning home at the end of their international exchange.  We also say goodbye to staff members who in some cases have been here at PME for many years.  We want to begin by wishing Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Campos and Mrs. Beaton all the best next year in their new assignments.  Their one on one work here with our students has been outstanding.  Mrs. Wahl our counselor and Mrs. Hoskins our Child Care Worker have been assigned to new schools next year.  We wish them good luck.  Mrs. G. Campbell, Mme Palmer and Mrs. Sanders are also leaving us.  We think that at least one of them will be back with us in September (hint: she speaks French).  Mme Simard is taking a year off to spend time with her family.  We wish her an awesome year and expect her to volunteer here at PME as she has promised to do.  Mrs. Brigham is also leaving PME.  She is currently completing her Master of Education degree and must complete a practicum as part of her program.  We wish her good luck and know that the students with whom she will be working with are very lucky.  Last but not least, we want to wish Mrs. Gatensbury a HAPPY RETIREMENT. Working in her garden as well as travelling are high up on her list of things that she wants to do.  Congratulations – félicitations!
