The Olympic Flame is coming to PME on Monday, February 8th
Just a reminder that we have adjusted our school day for Monday, Feb 8th.  School will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 1:40 p.m.  Students are encouraged to show their Canadian pride by wearing red and white.  If your child received Olympic mitts for Christmas, Monday will be the day to wear them.  Temporary road closures will be in effect on southbound lanes on Harris Road (McMyn Road to Hammond Road) from approximately 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and both eastbound and westbound lanes on Hammond Road (Harris Road to Herring Place) from approximately 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

PME Celebrates Vancouver 2010
Our PME torch continues to be carried by our students on a daily basis.  We award medals based of the following values:
Excellence (l’excellence), Friendship (l’amitié), Respect (le respet), Determination (la détermination), Inspiration (l’inspiration), Courage (le courage), Equality (l’égalité), Sport (le sport), Sustainability (la durabilité de l’environment) and Culture (la culture). 
Wel publish the names of our medalists in the school's newsletter as well as take a weekly picture of that week’s recipients.

Your family now has access to a wonderful set of online databases and encyclopedias! School District 42 purchased a subscription for all students to use at school and at home. These resources contain current, reliable and accurate information, great for the whole family.
